It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Mel Shipman, father of Temple Sholom member Eric Shipman, on June 9.

We offer our heartfelt condolences to his children Eric (Nini), Joanne, Esther (Sean) & Lorne, and grandchildren Talia, Noah, Abby, Joshua, Zack, Cassidy, Declan, Alexa.

The funeral was held on June 12 in Toronto.
