Sad News – Sidney Mannis z’l
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Beth Israel member Sidney Mannis z’l.
We offer our heartfelt condolences to his wife Myrna, son Elliott (Angela), daughter Heidi and grandchildren Sam, Philip and Erica.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 13 at 1:00 PM at the Beth Israel cemetery (1721 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby).
Shiva will take place on Wednesday & Thursday (April 13 & 14) at 7:00 PM

We extend to Myrna, Heidi and Elliot our sympathies on the loss of a husband and father. My uncle was only 41/2 years older than I. We went to the same public school and I ran around the school yard calling for my Uncle Sid much to his chagrin. I will always remember his kindness towards me. We were in touch with one another from time to time. I tried to reach him on the Friday before he passed away. I miss him and his good humour whenever we spoke or saw one another.
