Sad News – Sadie Abelson z’l

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the death of Sadie Abelson, stepmother of Temple Sholom member Gillian Lagnado (Albert) on Thursday, June 8.

Sadie was beloved mother of Ron and Margaret Shapiro, Rosemary and Alan Silbert, Gill and Albert Lagnado, Maureen and Frank Zetler, Leslie and Ruchama Abelson and grandmother of Michele, Gary, Mark, Robyn-Lynn, David, Caryn, Rosa, Ella, Asher, Ziv, Aviv, Gal, Nizan and their spouses and great-grandmother of their children.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 11 at 10:30 am at Schara Tzedeck cemetery. Tea and prayers will follow the funeral at the home of Karen and Peter Zetler. Prayers will take place on Monday night at 7:00 pm, also at the home of Karen and Peter Zetler.
