Sad News – Joshua Fedder z’l

It is with sorrow that I must inform you that this evening, Tuesday, June 7, our friends Steven Fedder and Danny Fedder have lost their father Joshua Fedder, Yehoshua ben Henech, zichrono l’vracha – may his memory be a blessing.

The funeral service and burial will be held at the Schara Tzedeck Cemetery in New Westminster tomorrow, Wednesday June 8, at noon.

Josh was 85 years old and is survived by his wife of 57 years, Zelda Fedder, by his devoted children and their partners, Catherine Fedder, Danny Fedder and Janie Venis, Steven Fedder and Jaqueline Fefer, Shanah Fedder and Peter Frankel, and by his grandchildren Zachary, Sabine, Sarah, Evan, Leah, Max and Isaac.

The family will sit shiva at Steven and Jaqueline’s home in Vancouver – with minyanim on Wednesday and Thursdayevenings, June 8 and 9, at 7:00 PM and on Friday morning, June 10, at 8:00 AM. The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 7-9PM, on Thursday, from 2-5 and from 7-9 PM, and on Friday from 2-5 PM.

I know that you will reach out to the Fedder family in friendship. May they receive from us a small measure of their own loving kindness.
