It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Dr. Hagit Katzov-Eckert z”l on Thursday, August 15, 2024.

 

We send our heartfelt condolences to her parents, Orit and Alex Katzov, husband, Thomas Eckert, children, Sarah, Eliot, and Livia, and to her brother and sister-in-law, David Katzov and Melanie Golberg.

 

The funeral was held on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Temple Sholom Cemetery (14965 – 28th Ave., White Rock/South Surrey, BC).

 

Reception and shiva followed immediately the funeral on Sunday at Temple Sholom (7190 Oak St, Vancouver), until 2:00 pm.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the BC Cancer Foundation.
