Remembering Yitzchak Rabin: 20 years later

Remembering Yitzchak Rabin: 20 years later     Rabin

It is hard to believe so many years have passed since this tragic turning point in Israel’s history.

On Saturday evening November 4, 1995 an Israeli gunman took the life of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin just as he finished delivering a message of hope and peace at a monumental rally in Tel Aviv.

Please join us on Monday evening November 2nd, 7:30 at Temple Sholom as we commemorate Rabin’s legacy and hear about what it means for Israel today.

The program will include a short memorial ceremony followed by a presentation from Gilad Perry, an Israeli educator who was present at the peace rally at which Rabin was assassinated.

At the end of Gilad’s presentation there will be a few songs and discussion.
