Mountain View cemetery Rededication Ceremony

Over 200 people joined in celebrating the rededication of Mountain View Cemetery yesterday, Sunday May 3. The culmination of 3 years’ work by a small, dedicated group of people, yesterday’s ceremony was a momentous occasion for our community.

After brief remarks from Restoration Committee Chair, Shirley Barnett, City Councillor Raymond Louie, Schara Tzedek Cemetery Board Chair Arnold Silber, and Rabbi Andrew Rosenblatt, the newly-built gates were opened by descendants of individuals buried at Mountain View.
