The Ride to Conquer Cancer

My husband Yossi Havusha was a proud participant of the Ride to Conquer Cancer this past weekend of August 26-27, 2017.  Yossi succeeded in riding 250 km from Cloverdale to Seattle. Along with family friends Gidon and Nadine Frame and Yossi joined 2,000 others who raised collectively over 8.3 million for BC Cancer Foundation for the 9^th annual Ride.

Everyone riding either experienced having had cancer themselves or was riding for someone else in mind.  Yossi was riding for me.  I conquered cancer last year.  I was diagnosed February 15^th 2016 with having had a rare Clear Cell Sarcoma found in my lower left leg.

After a tough recovery period I can walk, yet still afraid to get back on a bike to ride.  So, my dear husband did it for me.
