It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Carmel Gat z”l, family member of Or Shalom member Lynn Adam Saffery (Katy Ormiston).

 

Lynn’s cousin, Sigalit Salminis, was born and raised on Kibbutz Be’eri. Sigalit’s sister-in-law was murdered there on October 7th, and her daughter Carmel taken hostage. The family has been holding out hope that Carmel, who turned 40 while in captivity, would be rescued.

 

We send our heartfelt condolences to Lynn and Katy, and their entire family and friends.
