Mikaela Zitron is 19 years old. She likes to read and cook and is interested in interior design. Mikaela’s life took a different direction when she was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma (brain cancer) shortly after kindergarten. She has been attending Camp Good Times, an oncology camp for children with a past or present history of cancer, since she was 6 years old. Mikaela now attends Kwantlen Polytechnic University in Richmond where she learns employment skills to get her ready for the work place. Mikaela believes in living a healthy life style. This has inspired her to write an e-book motivating people to eat a wide variety of vegetables who otherwise would not.

Yossilinks.com is excited to be posting an introductory blog to Mikaela’s e-book that she is earnestly working on.

Preposterous Picky Eaters

Blog#1 by Mikaela Zitron

Throughout the ages there have been many picky eaters. From Queen Elizabeth to Elvis Presley to my brother. Most picky eater cook books talk about hiding vegetables in kids favorite foods. You see when someone simply hides vegetables in the food kids love; kids can still smell the vegetables. The thing is that 75% of what we perceive as taste is actually smell. Picture this, you’re sitting on the couch reading your favorite book, suddenly you smell a wonderful smell coming from the kitchen and you don’t know what it is. All you know is that your stomach is starting to make funny noises. Picky eaters just don’t like the smell of the vegetables that are part of a nutritious diet. This book will change the smell of those not so tasty vegetables, yet still provide all the nutritious benefits they have to offer. With numerous recipes tested on the pickiest of picky eaters, this book won’t disappoint. And who knows, you just might fall in love with some recipes along the way J
