Death Announcement – Leigh Luyt
It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Temple Sholom Member Leigh Luyt, adult son of Jill and Alan Luyt. Leigh was reported missing last week; family and community had been desperately searching for him. His body was discovered yesterday not far from his home. It was apparent that the mental illness that had stalked him much of his adult life finally became too much for him to bear.
We offer our heartfelt condolences to the family.
The funeral will be at 2:00pm Sunday, November 6, at Har El Synagogue, 1305 Taylor Way, West Vancouver.
Interment to follow, at approximately 3:00pm, at Capilano Cemetery, 1490 3rd St, West Vancouver (Har El section).
Shiva minyan to follow interment at the home of Jillian Lagnado, North Vancouver. Shiva minyan Monday night will take place at 7:00pm, at the same location.
May his memory always be a blessing and his soul finally at peace.
